MISSION: SCIENCE is an educational video series and outreach program that explores science topics and issues through action-packed challenges undertaken by the host, Dr.Marcus Eriksen. Marcus is a science educator, former marine, and thrill-seeker. In each half hour show, Marcus is given a mission to accomplish. He undertakes each challenge with great enthusiasm. His adventurous antics, whether it be skydiving to mimic birds' hunting patterns or racing a robot in a geological treasure hunt, are only second to his main purpose: to spark young students' interest in science. Directed at 3rd through 8th graders, MISSION: SCIENCE seeks to entertain and educate, to explore the many fascinating fields of science through an adventurous narrative.MISSION: SCIENCE is currently looking for additional sponsors to support video and outreach projects.
